Nurturing Kindness at Home

Nurturing Kindness at Home

A SKM - sponsored workshop for a parent on character education

Parents play an important role in nurturing values of kindness, graciousness empathy in children. Research has shown that parental involvement in children's education from an early age has a significant effect on educational achievement, and more importantly, on social and emotional development. These experiences go on to shape their personalities anв attitude in adolescence and adulthood.

As working parents, how can we be more involved in the upbringing of our children, and reinforce the positive values taught in the classroom?

In this 2 hours lunchtime workshop, speaker Carol Loi, Founder of SgVillage, will share:

  • Why kindness is important
  • Research findings on the benefits of kindness
  • Practical ways to imbue kindness in your kids
  • SKM resources available to support you
