Suitable for parents or single parents with children up to 12 years old. The content of this workshop is based on the content of the ICAN Fathering Workshop. It was designed so that both parents (mum and dad) can learn and be equipped together.

Parenting the Teen Years - 16 Jul:
Parents will gain insights into the mind and behaviour of their teens. They will learn about their teen’s cognitive, social and emotional changes and needs. Parents will also learn how to nurture a close and lasting relationship with their teen by acquiring skills in communication, connection and collaboration.

ICAN Fathering Workshop - 30 Jul:
Ideal for fathers with kids under the age of 10. ICAN stands for Involvement, Consistency, Awareness and Nurturance, was a program developed by Ken Canfield, author of “The 7 Secrets of Effective Fathers.” Based on studies that have identified what effective fathers do, the workshop equips fathers to be consistent, aware, and nurturing – which are core functions for effective fathering.
