Christmas Special: Parent-Child AppJamming Workshop (Age 9-11)

Get into the festivity and build your own Christmas app! Learn to code with a fantastic thematic AppJamming Workshop.

This is a parent-kid's workshop designed for families with the aim to empower students through teaching them problem-solving using technology. You will learn programming hands-on and create your own mobile apps, which will be fun to be part of this learning journey with your kid!

P.S.: 1 parent and 1 kid for each ticket.

This workshop is designed to introduce fundamental computer science concepts.

Applying Design Thinking process to utilizing AppInventor as a language, we guide students to apply problem-solving skills to their daily lives. Adapting a curriculum used in Silicon Valley, we cover user-centric design and mobile app development. Students receive personal guidance from our professional trained instructors in thinking through algorithms, decomposing problem and formulating multiple solutions.

The workshop covers

Introduction to computer programming, algorithms and basic logic controls
Creating the first app and familiarizing with App Inventor
This workshop finishes with a complete mobile app which you can bring home with your child
