Join us for this virtual workshop series about spices!
This school holidays, have your little ones try their hands at some arts and crafts, making ornaments out of aromatic dried spices. You'll get to learn more about the different types of spices found in the Spice Garden at Fort Canning Park, where they come from, and what they're used for today. At the end of the day, use your new ornaments to decorate your home!
This workshop will be held via Zoom. A few simple materials are required - do prepare them and have them on hand during the live workshop! They are:
- Cinnamon (available at various supermarkets)
- Scissors
- String
- Ribbon (optional)
Registration is required. A week before the workshop, you will be sent a meeting link and passcode for the Zoom workshop. If you encounter any problems joining the online session, you may contact saraann_ang@nparks.gov.sg for assistance.
