In Tomer Eshed’s animated film DRAGON RIDER, silver dragon Firedrake, forest brownie Sorrel and orphan Ben set out on a magical journey halfway around the world that will establish a close bond among them.
This is the tale of the exciting quest of this unlikely trio for the fabled “Rim of Heaven”, the dragons’ final refuge. It is a magical adventure of courage, self-confidence, optimism and the beginning of an unusual friendship.
DRAGON RIDER is director Tomer Eshed’s feature film debut. A star-studded cast of voices have been assembled for the lavishly animated adventure journey, inspired by novelist Cornelia Funke’s worldwide bestseller. Felicity Jones voices the forest brownie Sorrel, Thomas Brodie Sangster the silver dragon Firedrake, Sir Patrick Stewart voices Nettlebrand and Freddie Highmore the orphan Ben.
