My Woody Hero

My Woody Hero

Spend a day with us in our woody workshop repurposing pieces of wooden offcuts to assemble your very own Woody Hero to make our world a better place!

Let your child experience the beauty of wood and the joy of making something with their hands. The workshop will also touch on environmental issues in the world and get your child to imagine ways to do their part in saving the planet.

  • Suitable for children Age 5—9
  • Develop creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Play with shapes and forms
  • Hands-on experience engaging the senses
  • Learn to use simple tools (drill, mallet, sandpaper)

Our workshops run on 100% recycled wood that have been treated to look and feel as good as new. Besides learning about woodworking, here at GUI our educational programmes focus on sustainability and caring for the Earth. The workshop will also talk about the issue of waste management in Singapore, and how we can all do our part to reduce it.
