Woody Space: A Community-Driven Makerspace

Woody Space: A Community-Driven Makerspace

We provide the space and basic tool kit; you bring life to your own woodworking projects from recycled pallet wood!

Space without strangers, Woody is happy to see you here:

  • A hands-on experience, on your own, with wood and basic carpentry tools.
  • To meet with like-minded woodcrafters to collaborate and spark joy together.
  • To hammer, saw and drill to your heart's content without disturbing your neighbours.
  • To build special woodcrafts for someone special without heavy investment on tools.
  • To work at your own pace and immerse in our Kampung space.
  • To start building a waste-free environment and share your upcycling “woody” ideas.

All ages are welcome. For children 12 years old and below must be accompanied by a parent/guardian as this is a non-guided space, conducive for free play and bonding.

Please come 15 mins early for a compulsory demonstration of safety tools handling by our Touchwood volunteers before you start your session independently.

Advanced tools for rent and optional pallet available for purchase.

*FREE Stanley* measuring tape when you attend our 1st session on 28th April 2019.*
*Data will be collected on site when free item is collected.
