Embracing Wabi-Sabi – The Art Of Kokedama

Rooted in the wabi-sabi philosophy, join Adrian from Crafted Identity to unravel the origins of Kokedama as he unveils the art of nurturing these serene green companions. This session will be happening at HortPark Fruit Room from 9.30am to 10.30am.

Mini bonsai “Prune & Shape” Workshop 

Delve into the art of bonsai cultivation and learn basic techniques to craft interesting miniature trees at this hands-on workshop. Explore various bonsai styles, learn about essential tools, and discover the importance of meticulous maintenance. Fees apply. The first 30 participants to sign up will each receive a complimentary ceramic mini bonsai pot valued at $15.  This workshop will be held in HortPark, Fruit room from 1.00 to 2.30 pm.

Pen & Watercolour Wash Botanical Painting

Join us for a walk through the Botanical Art Exhibition “Flourish” and explore the intricate compositions and detailed renderings of plants created using various art mediums. You will also get to participate in a beginner-level botanical painting workshop led by Ms Seey Seey Leong from the Botanical Art Society (Singapore). All art materials will be provided.

This pre-registered workshop is only open to adults aged 15 and above. It will be held in HortPark, Flower room from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
