The “Journey of Entrepreneurship” programme endeavours to nurture children aged 9 to 16 on the concept of financial literacy and entrepreneurship through fun and enriching activities.

The programme has been designed to cater to the educational needs of children at various stages of their learning and development journey.

Journey of Entrepreneurship aims to cater to 2 categories of students namely: Primary (9 to 12 Years old) and Secondary (13 to 16 Years old).

Teaching entrepreneurship not only involves the “science”, or technical skills, such as business and financial literacy competencies, but also involves the “arts” which includes soft skills such as creativity and innovative thinking. Journey of Entrepreneurship has been designed to incorporate both soft skills and technical skills.

The programme has been broken down into 4 phases:

Phase I – Soft Skills: Mindset Development
Phase II - Soft Skills: Communication & Behavioural Skills
Phase III - Technical Skills: Financial Literacy& Business Skills
Phase IV – Final Project & Mini-Market Fair

The programme has been designed to incorporate activities that cater to different learning styles. Given the age group of the targeted students, the programme revolves around fun hands-on activities and minimal classroom lectures.

Towards the end of the programme, the students will embark on a final project which will require them to develop a business from scratch. The programme will end with a mini-market fair which will be used as a platform for the students to showcase their business and generate sales.
