A Captivaiting Carnival Awaits! (Playnest), 6 months to 18 months

  • Date: 5 June - 9 June 2017

Be part of an exciting journey as they dive into a medley of colours, sights and sounds with their loving educators. Experience the energy! Enjoy, sing, laugh, play and learn together with your child as their specially designed activities spark your child’s curiosity and engage them in a world of wonder. Let the funfair come to life as repetition of language and actions reinforces your child’s learning, sense of security and self-awareness. Balloons, puppets, bubbles and games will make this week an unforgettable experience.

Clap and Cheer,  the Carnival is Here (Playclub), 18 months to 3 years

  • Date: 5 June - 9 June 2017

Step into their fun-filled PlayClub Carnival and join their lively team of teachers for a week of celebration. Colourful characters come to life with amazing activities such as art and craft, music, drama, bubble-play, performances and stories for one and all. A truly interactive adventure awaits as children explore the wonders of language and creativity. This jolly jamboree enables each and every child to absorb the experience with confidence and joy. These precious moments and memories with children and parents will last a lifetime.

The Tick Tock Warriors Save Planet Ker-Plunk  (Speech and Drama programmes), Nursery 1 and 2

The Greedy Goblin has stolen treasures from Planet Ker-Plunk! He has grabbed the sounds of Planet Ker-Plunk and put them in a stolen Musical Box. Queen Boing is looking for talented, courageous, wise and strong children to join her team of superheroes, put on their capes and help to stop the Greedy Goblin from stealing the rest of the planet’s sounds! A whirlwind of excitement awaits as they jump into fun and thrilling drama adventures, colourful stories, moving and speaking rhymes, art and craft, and literacy activities during five days of enjoyable learning.

Superhero League of Nature (Speech and Drama programmes), Kindergarten 1 & 2

The evil Count Drake, who was once a superhero, has embraced his dark side and now plans to create unrest in the world by stealing monumental landmarks from different countries! Superheroes from all walks of life are invited to form a Superhero League of Nations to defeat Count Drake and restore peace among nations. Join their fearless team of superheroes as they traverse the globe in search of the monuments and experience an ultimate struggle between good and evil. Come and train in their Superhero Academy, where you’ll find clues to restore what Count Drake has destroyed.

Daring Defenders of the Universe (Readers and Writers programmes), Nursery 1 & 2

It’s your time to shine. Unleash your superpowers and work hand-in-hand with Marvellous Max as he helps them to become amazing superheroes, just like him! Marvellous Max is a master coach who has been tasked to form a team of superheroes who can protect the world. Through rhymes, stories, songs and drama activities, nursery children are immersed in a language-rich environment. Their learning is recorded in a Defender’s Diary, which will be presented on the final day of their exciting adventures. Come and join them for this fun-filled, five-day learning adventure where budding superheroes work together, as a team, with vigilance and skill to defend planet Earth.

The Quest for the Invisible Superhero (Readers and Writers programmes), Kindergarten 1 & 2

The Mayor of the City of Letters has launched a quest to locate Captain M and restore him to his former glory. The Mayor needs superhero enthusiasts who are daring enough to immerse themselves in stories, rhymes and drama adventures. Together, they will help Captain M rediscover superpowers such as zooming through the sky, dashing about with lightning speed and stretching like an elastic band. They’ll rebuild him using upper and lower case letters, CVC (consonant-vowelconsonant) words, nouns and exciting action words! You’ll also get to take home your very own 3D superhero at the end of the quest!

Alien Invasion (Camp), Primary 1 and 2

  • Time at Tampines Mall: 10.30 am – 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Planet Earth is in danger! Aliens are about to invade them! The call goes out to superheroes to respond. Join them at the SOS (School of Superheroes) where you’ll train to become part of a team that can help to defeat the aliens. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, diligence and the X-factor of a superhero. Your mission will include solving cryptic codes, presenting character sketches, and creating and writing about your own characters with original powers. These will be collated and presented to an audience in the form of reports, information booklets and other imaginative masterpieces at the International Superheroes Convention on Day 5. Successful graduates will then be despatched to far-flung corners of the world to defend their planet!

Everyday Heroes (Camp), Primary 3 to 5

It’s the year 2173 and the world is choking with crime, poverty and disease. Somewhere in a small village in Mongolia lives a young child named Baatar. Her name means ‘hero’, but she doesn’t feel like one … until she finds a magical map which once belonged to the great King Suleiman. Will the map help her find other heroes around the globe who can help her change the world for the better? Join Baatar on a thrilling journey to meet the most intelligent, kind and hard-working heroes in the world and help them change the planet, one noble act at a time. They’ll present their stories to the citizens and leaders of the world and, in the process, help to heal Planet Earth. Be a part of this heroic adventure and be the change you want to see in the world!
