Since its inception in 2005, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown has become the nation’s largest and most spectacular countdown event attracting more than 300,000 visitors each year.
This December, they invite people of all ages to come together and participate in festivities all around Marina Bay and the Civic District, with an exciting line-up of activities including carnival rides and games, a charity trail, fringe events and crowd-favourite projection mapping displays. Pen your hopes and dreams for the year ahead in Make A Wish online wishing initiative and get a chance for your wishes to be featured on the façade of The Fullerton Hotel.
Themed “Bay of Hopes and Dreams”, the 13th edition of the annual countdown celebration will see event partners and stakeholders around the precinct coming together for the first time to join in the season of giving to those in need. They urge you to take part in meaningful programmes like Santa Run for Wishes and MBSC Charity Trail (powered by the LocoMole smartphone application) and do your part for the community this festive season.
Towards the final moments of 2017 on New Year’s Eve, join for a series of stunning visual displays of building projection mapping sequence and a magnificent fireworks showcase to carry into 2018 with a positive and reinvigorated spirit.
