Here at NOM, they bring you simple homemade fare with No Other Meaning.

Yesterdae was a small neighbourhood café set amid the HDB estates of Macpherson serving desserts. Started by a regular office working girl with a dream and passion for desserts, the café opened serving homemade ice cream. Committed to serve quality desserts, the café began baking their own cakes and pastries as well.

With no prior professional training on sugar craft, the owner/baker stumbled upon a hidden talent when she made her first sugar figurines by request from a customer. After the first fondant figurines were posted online, more and more requests for customized fondant cakes came and the customized cakes portfolio grew thereafter.

After operating for more than a year and a half and after much feedback from customers on serving more than just desserts, they decided to expand operations. A stone throw away from the location of the Yesterdae café, MacPherson Community Club was undergoing a renovation and the space was a good fit to what they were looking for. After much planning and negotiation, Yesterdae shifted its operations there and rebranded itself as NOM-Bistro & Bakery.
