Embrace the Singapore Spirit ahead of Singapore’s National Day with UNWIND @ Raffles Place, an exciting event held at the heart of the Central Business District on 3 August 2024!
Organised by Raffles Place Alliance, this event promises to be a nostalgic, fun-filled day packed with an array of activities, which includes a dedicated play area for kids! Challenge your friends in classic lawn games such as badminton, giant jenga, or mini golf, or relive your childhood with traditional games like Chapteh and Five Stones as a series of live musical performances from local artists keep the vibe going well into the evening. Rediscover the Raffles Place precinct with a fun community bike tour before wrapping up the night with an outdoor movie screening from the comfort of the lawn chairs spread across the park.

Cycle through the Heart of the City with Wild Pearl’s Community Bike Tour
Explore Singapore’s Central Buzz District from 4pm to 5pm with Wild Pearl’s innovative community bike experience. Led by a custom cargo bike equipped with a solar-powered sound system and a unique seated DJ booth, this ride offers a fun and fresh way to explore Raffles Place. Enjoy curated tunes from local DJ Leland as you cruise through the district.
Free Anywheel bikes will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for the tour. Alternatively, you can bring your bike to the meeting point to join the ride.
Dive into Singapore’s Heritage with Games and Workshops by PLAY!
From 4 – 9pm, children can enjoy a dedicated play space filled with traditional local games such as Chapteh, Five Stone, pick-up sticks, card games, and tops as artist collective PLAY! transforms the park into a nostalgic playground.
Plus, you can join a free-play creative workshop and let your imagination run wild: With tables set up with craft materials, you can create your postcards about our beautiful island right in Raffles Place! Printed sheets featuring iconic Singapore motifs, like HDB flats, will also be available for inspiration.
Gather Your Friends for Fun Lawn Games
Gather your friends and family from 4 – 9pm for an enjoyable challenge with a variety of exciting lawn games:
- Table Tennis: Engage in a friendly match and showcase your serves and spins.
- Giant Jenga: Test your balance in this classic game where you carefully manoeuvre wooden blocks to build the tallest tower possible.
- Badminton: Show off your agility in exhilarating matches, either in doubles or one-on-one.
- Cornhole: Toss bean bags with precision as you aim to land them on or through the hole in the board.
- Putting Green: Hone your putting skills and enjoy a lighthearted game of mini golf.

Enjoy a lineup of live music from 4 – 6:30pm and 8:20 – 9pm with some of Singapore’s brightest talents. Begin with the soulful melodies of Shak’s solo acoustic set at 4pm, followed by Dita and her guitarist at 4:45pm, who are sure to deliver captivating performances blending soul and rhythm.
At 5:45pm, Mars B and band will energise the crowd with their vibrant melodies, before the evening wraps up with a captivating performance by Hanging Up The Moon x Leslie Low at 8:20pm. Take a seat in any of our #RPchairs around the park and enjoy the unique flair and energy of these homegrown talents!
Wind down with an outdoor Movie Screening of Sing 2
Settle down with your family and friends in CHUMs’ comfortable camping chairs for an outdoor moving screening that begins at 6:30pm. Watch as koala Buster Moon and his all-star cast of animal friends prepare for a dazzling musical extravaganza in Sing 2, filled with catchy musical numbers!
