This online food science workshop will expose the young participants to the basic laboratory techniques used by lab technicians and researchers, and allow them to virtually experience these investigative methods to examine food science lab processes.
Food is a relatable and common topic that enable science to be taught to young learners to instill that safe food should not be taken for granted, and that rigorous food testing is required to ensure healthy, safe food.
Lesson will be conducted by allowing students to participate in virtual labs where at the click of the mouse they can perform various food science experiments. No materials needed.
