Pat's Schoolhouse is hosting our first ever Music Festival this October!
Set in Marina Barrage, our Music Festival is set to bring lots of smiles, laughter and fun to people of all ages with a wide range of activities specially curated by our Pat's people!
Bust a few moves with our children from Pat’s Schoolhouse! They will be performing Cultural Dances to music from different parts of the world over three sessions. Witness a freestyle jamming session involving percussion instruments during these sessions too. In addition, the children will show their parents new groovy moves, before getting them to join them the dance performance at one of these sessions.
Rhythm, fluidity and coordination development begin with activities like the Parachute Dance! Catch our teachers and children in action as they play and showcase the giant Parachute Dance. It will be a visual treat like no other! Teachers from Pat’s will also be conducting a drumming session with gym balls.
Both parents and their children are welcome to play along to songs, using these exercise balls, keeping it fun while akin to working out at the gym!
As part of the Music Festival, we will be conducting enjoyable workshops for a small fee of up to $5.00. Some of these workshops include:
Musical Tales Alive:
Make stories come alive with sound effects and music using various musical instruments.
This parent-child music workshop injects music into story-telling using shadow puppetry or dramatisation, a method used teach pre-schoolers often at Pat’s.
Conducted over 5 sessions, each one showcases a different story in English or Chinese.
Melody Meadows:
Drop a beat with Melody Meadows, a workshop for parents and children to play instruments to songs, rhymes and musical games. There will be five sessions conducted throughout the day. Stay tuned, because prior to the start of some of the sessions, the children from Pat’s Schoolhouse will perform a short performance using musical instruments.

ENTRY IS FREE!
Food and drinks, the participation of musical workshops and games are experienced through vouchers which you can either purchase before the event from any of our 19 centres or during the event itself!
