Pibo's Garden Playschool

Pibo’s Garden Playschool is part of the Nurture Education Group established 15 years ago.

With changes in the early childhood education landscape, they hope to extend their services to the expatriate community in grooming unique and all-rounded individuals. Their unique garden concept aims to develop children through play and stimulate learning outside the confines of the classroom.

They provide quality play-based learning through safe and reliable practices in a caring and nurturing home-like environment for every child in their school.

Programmes:

  • Specialised Mandarin Programme - Mandarin is integrated into their daily programme to expose to children of different ethnicity. Their Mandarin teacher introduces the language through engaging activities such as music, drama, games, crafts, senorial activities and many more! They have also put in place a more thematic approach to guide children’s understanding of the language.
  • Afternoon Themed Programmes - Their play-based afternoon programmes are themed with fun and interactive activities designed by their teachers to develop strong semantic language skills and an ability to express oneself meaningfully.
  • Art Programme - This programme exposes children to techniques such as colouring, blending, shading, working with clay and many more! They give children the freedom and autonomy for creative expression. Working in a group setting also inspires creativity within the class.
  • Imaginative Play - Role playing essentially is learning through purposeful play. It stimulates imaginative minds and benefits children’s cognitive development. Role playing allows them to express feelings and strengthen communication skills in the process.
  • Wet and Wild - Their supervised water games and outdoor activities provide opportunities for extended learning. It is also an enriching activity that teaches children to explore densities of objects. Playing with these objects will improve their hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
  • Music and Dance - It serves as a language vehicle to connect to preverbal children. They are also effective forms of creative outlet that sets the foundation for confidence and self-discovery. With the use of different muscial instruments, their music and dance programme enhances their coordination, linguistic, listening and memory skills.
