Aside from exploring current hands-on exhibition ‘Going Play-ces’, they’re celebrating the day with fun drop-in activities for all children to be part of all day.

Chalk-a-doodle-do
Playeum’s floor is your live canvas. Grab a piece of chalk and go wild! Work with a friend or have a go on your own at outlining the shape of your body! Decorate it with as many colours and/or materials around the play space.

Press & Pull A Cloud
Come try your hand at making your own abstract shapes with simple everyday materials like string and paint, and marvel at the endless possibilities you can create! After which, take a look at your artwork and add on some finishing touches to recreate something brand new, be it an animal or insect or anything up to your imagination!
P.S: There'll be a special artist-is-in session from 11am to 1pm! Come join artist Nikki and see what images she comes up with through your drawings.

Shadow Puppet Play
Come design your own puppet from scratch and be part of a mini theatre production! Children will experiment with shapes, materials and opacity as they create their own characters and landscapes for a story out of upcycled materials. There's also the opportunity for older children (aged 8 and above) to tinker and explore ways to mechanize their puppets.
