Join this September school holidays for a week full of fun and exciting art jamming!
Test out ideas you have always wanted to explore and discover new ways of creating with recycled materials. Each session will be led by a playmaker.
Here's the activities we'll be exploring each day:
- Tinker Time
Be your own engineer and come invent and get creative! Explore your curious and imaginative minds with circuitry, LED lights, spinning motors and more. Discover speed and movement, motion, taking objects apart and repurposing them, while understanding how different tools work to promote creative thinking!
*Purchase an optional $10 Tinkering Kit that will go towards Play It Forward fund!
- Straw Blow Paint Art
This simple activity is guaranteed to provide hours of fun! Dip a dropper into watercolor paint and explore with adding as many colors as you want on paper. Then, take a straw and blow the paint in different directions to see the colors run. Once the paint dries, display your artwork or use it to make cards, wrapping paper and more!
- Chromatography
They are used to mixing color with paint, but how about exploring with separating color mixture? In this fun science experiment, come discover chromotography by drawing on coffee filters, folding them into cones and dipping their tips into water. Watch what happens as water begins to separate the various color pigments and see how each color blends in and mixes together!
