Can children capture light, shape shadows and discover stories hidden in traditional art?
Join Potabella Studio and Shuang Studio for a three-day bilingual creative adventure exploring light, materials, design and Chinese folk art.
During the English-language morning sessions, children will investigate how light interacts with different materials, shapes and surfaces. They will experiment with paper clay, explore structures and create imaginative light-inspired vessels and sculptures.
In the Chinese-language afternoon sessions, children will discover 泥泥狗 (Nini Dog), a traditional Chinese folk art, through storytelling and hands-on making. The camp also includes an outdoor nature exploration experience at Admiralty Park.
Rather than following a fixed template, children are encouraged to observe, experiment, make decisions and develop their own creative responses.
What children will experience:
- Light, shadow and material investigations
- Paper clay vessel and sculptural making
- Creative design and construction
- Traditional Chinese folk art and storytelling
- Outdoor nature exploration
- English and Chinese creative learning experiences

Small groups. Meaningful experiences.
Our holiday camps bring together outdoor experiences, thoughtful facilitation and time for hands-on making. Children are encouraged to explore their own ideas and learn through the process, not simply follow instructions to complete a craft.
Community Access
We offer 50% off regular camp fees for eligible Blue CHAS cardholders and 20% off for eligible Orange CHAS cardholders. Discounts cannot be combined with Early Bird rates and are subject to verification and available supported places. This is a Potabella Studio initiative, not a government-funded CHAS camp subsidy.
