About the programme:
Music does more than entertain for your little one! When young children actively explore and take part in musical activities, neural connections in their brains are created and strengthened, providing a strong foundation for later learning in academic areas such as languages and Mathematics.
Each session of the programme is interactive and encompasses songs and musical instruments to keep your child engaged. Various elements of music such as rhythm and dynamics are introduced in the activities for your child to explore body movement in meaningful and enjoyable ways. Expect lots of bonding fun as well as this programme is parent-accompanied!
Objectives:
- Explore various elements of music such as rhythm, tempo, pitch and dynamics
- Listen to and respond to a variety of sounds from various sources e.g. environment, musical instruments, people
- Explore musical instruments and props in accordance to the elements of music
- Explore body movement and body percussion along with different kinds of music and songs
