Body Smarts Through Movement Arts
We believe in empowering and educating children about boundaries and body safety at a young age. That’s why we’re so excited to be collaborating with Rolypoly Family to bring you Body Smarts Through Movement Arts for our June holiday programme! This one-of-a-kind programme is an introductory workshop targeted for 4-6-year-olds and their parents.
Using simple language and engaging movement-based activities, children will learn the concepts of body boundaries, body respect, safety and consent, while celebrating connection and affection!
Fees
$45 for one parent/guardian & child pair
$10 for additional adult or child (additional 1 adult and 1 child will be considered a pair; full fee applies)
Who is this for?
This workshop is for families who are finding their way into the topic, as well as families who have already begun addressing the topic at home, and are looking for ways to reinforce the learning.
Our dream is that through Body Smarts Through Movement Arts, children are given a supportive and empowering environment to learn about body boundaries and consent while having fun at the same time.
Things to note
The workshop requires parent/guardian participation. Please be dressed in clothes that are comfortable for movement and being on the floor. We need a minimum of 5 pairs to start. Refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled.
Refunds will not be issued late cancellations or no-shows.
