Sagra Italiana: the authentic Italian Festival is dedicated to all Italians, Singas, Italo-Singas, tourists, Italophiles and foodies who want to celebrate Italy in the city!
In Italy, Sagra is a local festival characterised by community tradition, live music and, most importantly, food and drink; Italy sees thousands of sagre taking place over the summer period, so Singapore’s first was right here this year.
This event is under the patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Singapore and is organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Association with numerous influential supporting partners.
There would be an opening ceremony on the 24th October graced by diplomats from the Italian Embassy and Senior Management from UOL Malls including food bloggers and other distinguished guests.
What to expect?
1. Italian wines and beers, food and snacks.
2. Traditional Italian Opera performance & a band performing Italian modern and traditional songs.
3. A 'Tower of Pisa' where we'll have professionals looking after the children as they rock climb.
4. Workshops to re-create Da Vinci's inventions using recycled materials.
5. Free Italian coffee and snacks giveaway everyday!
How to find us?
Sagra Italiana, Singapore's Italian Festival, will be held in United Square Mall, in the heart of Singapore from 23rd October up to 28th, 2018.
How to get there?
United Square Mall reachable by bus and the MRT at Novena station. For the occasion also the Italian Embassy will be present, as well as it's in the same building.
