Hosted by 88.3 Jia DJ Jia Ming, Chef Ladda, head chef at P.O.D Bistro will demonstrate how to create Pad Thai Gai.
Ingredients
- Pad Thai Noodles - 150gm
- Chicken Slices - 10 slices (Thinly sliced)
- Bean Sprouts - 15gm
- Chives (Ku Chai) - 2 stems (Cut up)
- Bean Curd - ¼ block (Cut up)
- Sweet Turnip - 2 Tablespoons
- Egg - 1 piece
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Shallots - 5 cloves
- Pad Thai Sauce - 40gm
- Roasted Peanut (Garnish) - 20gm
- Chili Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Cooking Method
- Dice up bean curd and stir fry in hot oil
- Add in finely chopped garlic, shallots & sweet turnip, stir fry until fragrant
- Add chicken slices into pan and allow it to cook
- Add in noodles, bean sprouts and chives together with Pad Thai sauce
- Pour in beaten egg and toss it up
- Once all elements in the pan are cooked and noodles have softened, serve on a plate and garnish with crushed roasted peanuts, chili powder, chives and a slice of lime
