Wise Program *FREE TRIAL CLASS*
Well-rounded set of playgroup classes including English, Chinese, Music, Drama and Art for toddler from 18 months to 35 months.
Seimpi Education will be hosting a WISE Program open house on the 21st of April, from 12pm-2pm. It will be held at Seimpi HQ @ The CentrePoint and is open to all Toddler age as young as 18 Months to 35 Months old.
Introduction:
For parents looking for a fun way to introduce English and Chinese to your child at an early age, Seimpi Education is proud to present a specialised set of classes inclusive of art, speech and drama, and music all in a single program conducted by our Specialists Teachers. These programs serve to give a holistic support to the overall progress of bilingualism in children and will also cultivate the love for the arts, music, drama, drawing, art & craft. Through age appropriate teaching padagogies, childen will also refine their eye-hand coordination and overall motor and physical skills!
Teaching Concept:
They focus the teaching on preparing children well for their future learning needs, especially to be well-versed in the requirements of the English and Chinese MOE syllabus in Singapore. All the subjects in the course contain a well thought-out plan to reach specific objectives in every milestone of the children's progress.
Brief description of core modules:
English & Drama / Chinese & Drama
18 months old to 3 yeas old is an age where linguistic development is at its peak. Although some may not know how to speak clearly or may not be able to speak. They can absorb sound and nuances by listening and imitating quite instantly. With this awareness in mind. There are carefully designed speaking and drama activities that fits the age group appropriately, by using phonics, visual aids, sounds, stories, mimes and plays to assist toddlers in acquiring good habits in speaking.
Learning components of this level involve the following:
• Rhymes & Songs
• Pictures & Words Matching
• Phonology
• Acting & Drama
• Task-Based learning
• Basic Presentation skill
• Motor skills (Preparation for writing)
Music (MIM, Music for the Intelligent Mind)
Although Music is not the core subject of this program. It gives support to the learning of English and Chinese languages in a interesting way. The rhythmic training that our Specialist Music Teacher imparts in this program through rhymes and songs helps toddlers in their word pronunciation. Pitch training assists in controlling the tone of their voices to be more expressive in their speech. The other music skills that come with music training such as Singing, Memory, Interpretation, Presentation and Performance further enhance and deepen the understanding of English and Chinese languages.

• Introduction to Basic Music Literacy
Art
Art learning is another important part of early childhood education. It helps toddlers to learn different ways of expressing themselves apart from using verbal communication. Our specialist language and drama teacher will use art works done by toddler to help them to describe it in words.
Learning components of this level involve the following:
• Skillful use of art materials
• Creative drawing
• Colouring techniques
• Shapes drawing
• Matching/Sorting skill
• Using materials of different texture
