Sengkang Public Library

Public Library with the renovated children section and interactive reading corners is perfect for families to spend quality time together

Sengkang Public Library was officially opened on 30 November 2002 by Rear-Admiral (NS) Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence, and Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris GRC.

The library is Singapore’s – and probably the world’s – first DIY (Do-It-Yourself) library where more self-service equipment were introduced to help library users.

The tenth shopping mall library under the National Library Board's network, Sengkang Public Library has a floor space of 1,809 square metres and is located at Compass Point shopping centre. It serves the North East areas of Jalan Kayu, Punggol Central, Punggol North and Punggol South.
