Shaw Theatres Waterway Point open on 21 January 2016 with 10 screens, including an IMAX theatre, right to the doorsteps of residents in the North-East of Singapore!
This is Shaw Theatres’ ninth location, and the fourth that has opened over the last six years and all in suburban districts – i.e. Shaw Theatres Seletar in Seletar (December 2014), Shaw Theatres JCube in Jurong East (April 2012), and Shaw Theatres nex in Serangoon Central (December 2010).
- It features the latest in cinema technologies like IMAX, Dolby 7.1 Surround and RealD 3D systems.
- The new multiplex is the latest in a string of significant developments for Shaw Theatres.
Waterway Point is strategically located minutes from the Punggol MRT Station, and Punggol bus interchange. Waterway Point is a commercial mall make up of 4 levels inclusive of 2 basements. Movie-goers will be able to shop, dine and entertain in round-the-clock F&B outlets.
