Asian Festival of Children's Content

Published 24 April 2026 at 20:06

The Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) is the leading festival in Asia for children’s stories and young adult (YA) fiction.

Targeted at writers, illustrators, translators, publishers, educators and media professionals, AFCC offers a series of exciting programmes, including panel discussions, presentations, workshops, lectures, masterclasses, networking sessions and public programmes that promote the creation and appreciation of quality children's literature and YA with a focus on Asian themes.

Our public programmes cater to parents and children to engage with children's literature through storytelling sessions, performances and workshops aimed at getting children excited about reading and writing. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to explore and experience new worlds through stories together as a family!

While most of our public programmes are free to attend, some programmes are free with registration as spaces are limited, and some require the purchase of a public programmes ticket. Please check out our website for more details on each programme and their respective admission fees.
