Embrace this mid-autumn by heading down to Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) as it celebrates the harvest season with fun festivities.

 

From tales and games across cultures, fun workshops to lantern walks and harmonious melodies, visitors will be able to harvest all the good tidings under the moonlit evening.

Come celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival at Singapore Discovery Centre with exciting performances by Singapore Chinese Orchestra! Under the baton of Associate Conductor - Moses Gay, immerse yourself in the night festivities and be serenaded with familiar favourites, such as The Moon Represents My Heart, May Life be Eternal, and Impressions of Chinese Music. Bring along your loved ones, and join us for a heartwarming night of moon-gazing, lanterns and orchestral music!

Harvest and Harmony (Festival Displays and Installations)

Make a wish for yourself and your loved ones and leave them on our Wishing Tree! Walk around with your lanterns to various spots to capture your Instagram-worthy moments here in SDC!

    Mood and Melodies (Stage Programme and Booth Activities)

    Spend some time over at the Concourse to soak in the festive mood, sights and sounds of the evening with fun games and cultural melodies and performances by yIN Harmony and more!

    Autumn Leaves (Tea Appreciation Demo)

    • 3, 4, 9 & 10 Sep
    • 8:00pm (3, 4, 9 Sep) & 9:00pm (10 Sep) (subject to changes)

    Get a chance to learn more about the art of tea-drinking and tea appreciation, hosted by Yixing Xuan Teahouse. You may even get to sample some tea!

    Moon-LIT! Trail (Self-guided)

    • 3, 4, 9 & 10 Sep
    • 6:30pm to 10:00pm
    • All around centre (Pick up trail activity cards at the Redemption Booth, Concourse)

    Light up your lanterns* and go on a self-discovery path under the moon-lit evening. Redeem a small gift** at our gum ball machine after you complete the trail.

    *Lanterns are not provided, it is highly recommended to bring your own lantern.
    **Limited to the first 100 redemptions per festival night, for children aged below 12, while stocks last.

    i) Un-Mask-ed

    Make your very own unique face mask in this easy craft activity, or put it on when you join our Moon-LIT! night trail!

    ii) SingaPaw Colour by Number

    Get creative and fill in the colours of the season in this unique colouring special for Mid-Autumn

    Moon Gazing by the Lake (Art Jamming with Ong Lai Art)

    Back by popular demand, join in this easy art jamming session with Ong Lai Art where you will get to create your very own unique moon portrait in autumnal colours as you bask in the full moon by our lake!

    Tale-ing the Moon (Interactive/Guided Lantern Walk)

    Follow the 'Moon' as you participate in this interactive walking tour around the centre and by the lake. Bring along your lanterns as you listen to the fascinating Mid-Autumn 'Moon Tales' from the region by our guides!
