Singapore Football Festival is back for the 2nd year in June & July 2018!
Embracing nation’s love for football, Sport Singapore continues to facilitate the football community to celebrate the sport in the second edition of the Singapore Football Festival in June and July this year.
Coinciding with the 2018 FIFA World Cup, International Champions Cup (ICC), Singapore Premier League (SPL) and the Singapore National Games (SNG), this year’s festivities aim to inspire people to learn, watch and play various forms of football organised by ActiveSG, Football Association of Singapore (FAS), as well as operators, clubs and fans from the local football community.
Focusing on the quality of experiences for both football enthusiasts and the uninitiated, the Singapore Football Festival offers world-class football at the National Stadium and competitions among the community across the island. Non-traditional football activities such as E-gaming, Foosball, Table Football, and other captivating football activities and carnivals will add more fun and excitement to the festival.
What is Active Enabler Programme?
The Active Enabler Programme is a component of SFF that supports ground up/community oriented proposals for creative, sport focused and lifestyle driven activities.
Members of the public as well as community and corporate partners are encouraged to come forward and co-create innovative football-themed lifestyle concepts and events island-wide that will encourage everyone, even those who do not exercise regularly, to develop a liking for football or even sports. We are looking for ideas that:
Build a community that appreciates and embraces the value of sports
Celebrate the nation’s love for international and local Football
Demonstrate the narratives of sport and how sport can help people to live better
Encourage everyone to watch or play football during this month-long celebration coinciding the 2018 FIFA World Cup, International Champions Cup (ICC), Singapore Premier League (SPL) and Singapore National Games (SNG)
This Sport Singapore Initiative is open to everyone who has a creative and innovative idea to share.

How to get there?
The Singapore Sports Hub is easily accessible via all transport modes. Public transport by MRT and bus are the easiest forms of transport to get here.
By MRT:
- Via the Circle Line:
Stadium MRT Station (CC6) is the nearest station which exits directly into the Singapore Sports Hub.
Mountbatten MRT Station (CC7) is approximately 600m walking distance from Singapore Sports Hub. This also serves as an alternative station via the Circle Line for leaving the venue.
- Via the East West Line:
Kallang MRT Station (EW10) is approximately 600m walking distance under a sheltered walkway to the Singapore Sports Hub.
