First Line of Code Workshop is brought to you by Kodecoon to introduce your child to the world of programming using MIT-developed Scratch software.

Scratch’s drag-and-drop programming will give your child the power to code his own animations and games and learn to be an active creator instead of passive consumer of technology. Furthermore, with Micro:bit which is a tiny programmable computer, your child will be challenged to think out of the box to create innovative solutions to real-life problems.

This programme is suitable for participants aged 7-12.

Participants are required to bring writing materials. Participants are also encouraged to bring laptops (optional).

Participants are advised to arrive 15min before workshop, as allocated seats will be released to interested participants 10 minutes after the start of the workshop.
