(Fully Booked) Beyond Gardening: From Garden to Skin

The plants at the Good Garden have showered with appreciation.

Herbs, in particular, have been doing extremely well. They’ve used them for numerous pitchers of infused waters, teas at home, hot pot soup lunches at The Artground, flu season home remedies, pestos, fermentation recipes and of course for propagation and onsite education.

So what’s next? Well, the Cultivate Central team have been making lip balms with all that spare aromatic herbs. At next Beyond Gardening workshop in conjunction with Mother’s Day, Cultivate Central will show you how to make an all natural lip balm for mum inspired by herbs from the Good Garden. Join in this special Beyond Gardening workshop – From Garden to Skin. You will learn how to scent your lip balm, make infused oils, use herbs and all natural ingredients to make your very own lip friendly lip care.

About Beyond Gardening

Permaculture Design partner, Cultivate Central runs Beyond Gardening once every two months at The Artground. Inspired by The Good Garden, Beyond Gardening connects you and your child to artists and makers in the city. Cultivate Central created Beyond Gardening to give you and your child time to go back to basics.

Making something with your child can be a memorable and a playful journey. One that can transport us to the origin of ideas, work with nature and push to be curious and look at things differently together.  With a back to basics approach, these hands-on workshops allow you to experiment, create, and test out ideas and DIY projects that encourage a more creative sustainable urban lifestyle as a family.

About Cultivate Central
