It is our annual open call for GroundBreakers – an artists incubation programme!
This means, we are getting local artists to pitch new ideas to The Artground and we want your child to be a part of the Children’s Panel with The Artground to pick the final 3 ideas which appeals to them!
So, if your child is between 7 – 12 yrs, and you will like to join us for this Drop-off programme, read on!
What you get!
- 90min speech & drama class by Artistic Expressions (We want the children to experience what is it like to express an idea to others in a group setting, and have fun while doing so. There will be theatre games, creative movement exercises and loads more!)
- 45min lunch break (lunch will be provided – we will email the lunch options closer to the date)
- 120min Pitching sessions by the artists (each shortlisted artist will get 10min to pitch plus 5min Q&A with the Children’s Panel). The duration of this session is TBC, dependent on the number of shortlisted artists.
And most importantly, a chance to pick your favourite ideas which will be part of our year-long incubation programme, and see these ideas come alive and develop over 2019 at The Artground!
