The Artground has a variety of age-specific drop-in programmes on the weekends that participants will get to enjoy!
Just for January, these programmes will run over 2 hours (eg 10:30am – 12:30pm or 2:30pm – 4:30pm) on the stage area. Children can drop in anytime within the 2-hour session to experience the workshop. There is no need to pre-register for these drop-in events each activity will likely take a child 10-30min to complete, and they will keep filling bums on seats for these sessions.
You can purchase a single ticket at the entrance of the workshop, or TAG cards 5 and TAG card 10 + 1 at $50 or $100 respectively at the reception.
There will be no need to pre-register on website for entry into The Artground. Parents and carers will however, be required to register on portable devices onsite.
31st March, Saturday
- 10.30am - 12.30pm: [Open Workshop] Hand Paint Easter Puppets (3 years and up): Make and decorate your own chick or bunny puppets with feathers, googly eyes and little painted hands! Kids can drop in anytime within the session.
- 2.30pm - A Little Here, A Little There by The Kueh Tutus (Crawlers: 5 - 12 months): Let your baby make his/her mark on this performance. Dancers trace the babies’ trajectories; drawing inspiration from their movements to form mini duets.
- 3.30pm - Thumpety Thump with Bounch and the band (5 years and up): A fun and energetic percussive experience where kids get to try hand held instruments and jam with the band.
- 4.30pm - Marbled Egg Cups by artathomesg (45 mins, 5 years and up, children below 7 years to be accompanied by parents): Make these beautiful egg cups to hold your yummy (chocolate) eggs in, or as a fun little addition to your tea time play set!
1st April, Sunday
- 10.30am - Easter Shrinky Dink! (3 years and up, children below 7 years to be accompanied by parents): Design and make your own adorable Easter themed keychains or necklaces using shrink plastics!
- 11.30am - Terrific Tales by The Storytelling Centre Ltd. - Fairytale Capers (3 - 7 years): The perfect introduction to the art of storytelling especially for little listeners, followed by a simple craft activity.
