The French Council of Singapore

Research has shown that learning a new language from a young age can greatly improve mental agility and enhance memory development. Therefore, our team of highly trained teachers are equipped to teach French to children as young as three years old. This is the period when the brain is still developing and building a strong foundation for future learning.

Our interactive French online lessons for young learners involve fun activities such as songs, drawings, and games that aid in the acquisition of basic language knowledge. In addition, our classes focus on spelling and grammar to provide a strong foundation in French language learning.

Learning a new language is essential, especially in a multicultural environment like Singapore. Young children are often exposed to foreign students and diverse cultures, and learning a new language, especially from a young age, has been shown to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills. Studies have also demonstrated that students who learn foreign languages tend to excel in other subjects, such as mathematics.

At the French Council of Singapore, our French lessons are designed with a structured curriculum that follows a theme-by-theme approach, ensuring that each student learns at their own pace and grasps each concept before moving on to the next. Our courses also prepare young learners for the DELF Prim exam, which is an easier version of the well-known DELF exam. It is an excellent way for kids to earn their first certificate and see the results of their hard work.
