The Little Things boasts a locally-developed programme intended to train children to manage and thrive in the home-and-kitchen settings.
We realized that cooking, baking and working with their hands in the kitchen is something that many of our children lack today, and we endeavour to change that. We seek to bring more children into the kitchen, to explore the world of food, ingredients and getting their hands dirty… and of course, to savour the fruit of their labour! While whipping up their feasts, children pick up the most crucial of skills – language, numeracy, science, problem-solving, working in teams and much, much more.
Therefore, the sessions are all structured yet open-ended, safe yet exciting, guided yet independent, and the children will get to interact with familiar foods in unprecedented ways.
They’ve got several types of programmes:
- Weekly Self-Savvy™ Programme (Toddlers, Juniors, Seniors)
- Ad-hoc Workshops: Parent&Child Sessions, Holiday Programmes etc.
- Group events both on and off their premises: CSR projects, Family Day events, school excursions
- Private Events & Parties/Playdates
The Little Things’ curriculum strikes a perfect balance between learning and play.
The Little Things created Baking Kit and pieced it together especially for you – families who crave time & space to engage “food”-fully!
- The Little Baking Kit - Egg Tarts
