Programme Synopsis
Today’s children mostly spend their free time on digital game entertainment. Although technology is a boost to our lives, such games are usually played individually with little interpersonal interaction. The daily hustle & bustle of life keep parents & their children busy coping with daily routines, and taking time out for a breathe of fresh air in the rustic nature & spend quality time together as a family is a luxury for many.
In this 1D outdoor programme, from the bum boat ride to the guided trekking to Chek Jawa (exploring the Sensory Trail, Water Lily Pond, Teck Seng House, Ubin Fruit Orchard, Last Malay Kampung & “The Abandoned Village”), there will be many teachable moments. Parents will model & lead their children in experiencing life “back to basics” in the serene nature & have a go at setting up their own fire at the Mamam Campsite. This experience create opportunity for communication & teamwork between family pairs to reach their goal in cooking a simple meal outdoor.

Terms & Conditions:
▪ The Mapping Academy reserves the right to cancel the programme if a minimum of 10 family pairs (i.e. 20 participants) required for programme commencement is not met (full refund of programme fees applicable).
▪ Once registered, seats are confirmed and consent for photo/video taking during the session and the use of information provided in the Registration Form is automatically granted to The Mapping Academy Pte. Ltd.
▪ There will be no refund nor replacement session for No Shows.
