This 5-hour introduction to routesetting workshop will benefit novice climbers.
Whether you are a climber curious about what happens behind the scenes, an enthusiast with the intention to broaden your climbing knowledge and hone your climbing style, or a teacher who wishes to set problems for your school team's training.
Content Summary:
- Planning a route: Objectives, goals and selection of holds
- Process: Creativity with route flow and design in mind
- Installation: Tools, safety and more
- Review: Testing out your routes, feedback and modifications
The workshop is very hands on... So, expect lots of bouldering involved too!
Prerequisite:
- 13 years and above
- About 6 months of climbing experience
- Class size: 4-6
