The Bird Who Fought Fire

The Bird Who Fought Fire

There once lived a tiny bird with very small wings who couldn’t fly as fast or as far as the other bigger birds. She loved the trees that were her home and would flit from branch to branch in happiness. One day a terrible forest fire raged around her precious home! How will the tiny bird save the forest? Who will help her put out the fire? This story is based on the Indian myth of Garuda the king of eagles and his compassion for other creatures.
