In these classes, before children start to imitate characters, let them first observe theirselves. Explore your body, let loose different sounds, appreciate the different ways that you can express yourselve, observe others and the surroundings.
This is apparent in the classroom as students immerse themselves in theatre games, enhance their connection of body to mind through movement, and work in groups to create a dramatic piece. Drama flows naturally onstage as an extension of life itself.
In Drama Class, the emphasis is not on training actors. The teachers encourage physical and verbal expression, nurture creativity, build confidence, and aim to develop each individual’s character. Some of the students also have the opportunity to perform alongside professional actors in the musicals and plays!
Class ‘A’: 9am to 10.30am
Class ‘B’: 11am to 12.30pm
Class ‘C’: 1pm to 2.30pm
