Let children create their own tales!
In Story Banq, The Theatre Practice believes in the power of words and the fascination of good stories. In these classes, children listen to narratives, retell them, share their stories, and go one step further to create their own tales.
In the process, children expand the boundaries of their imagination and gain the confidence to articulate their ideas. They share their stories through class presentations, body movement, drawings and simple craft work.
The richness of the course:
- Listen – Understanding narratives, probing deeper, and relating it to oneself
- Retell/Share – Language expression, articulation and building confidence
- Create – Sparking creativity through creation of new stories
- Present – Integrating movement, drawings, dialogue and extras such as props/costumes
