The Nursery Rhymes Project 2 Official Launch

The Nursery Rhymes Project 2 is finally here. What better way to celebrate than by bringing the party into your living rooms?

Grab the kids and enter the world of Mandarin nursery rhymes with our beloved Imagine Our Songs characters Kaya and Roti, as they return with a brand new interactive storytelling adventure—“Going Home”. Finally, join us in a rousing sing-a-long session featuring some of our favourite nursery rhymes!

The livestream will also include an address from Guest of Honour Ong Ye Kung, Minister For Education.

Note: The launch will be presented in Mandarin and the performances will have participatory elements.

About The Nursery Rhymes Project:

Created to address the lack of quality Mandarin nursery rhymes material, The Nursery Rhymes Project preserves the classic melodies and stories we grew up loving, while offering a modern refresh so they can be enjoyed by generations to come. Each instalment consists of three parts: Sing Our Songs (music album), Paint Our Songs (illustrated lyric book) and Imagine our Songs (live performance).

First launched in 2017, the first instalment was met with resounding success. The project has reached families worldwide, with songs streamed over 170,000 times and over 4000 copies of the books distributed. Thousands of children have also seen Kaya and Roti tell stories through touring school shows and community outreach events.

诚挚邀请各位大朋友和小朋友，跟着最受大家喜爱的《我们的儿歌说故事》角色——Kaya 和 Roti，以全新的互动式故事《回家》，一起踏入华语儿歌的奇妙世界，再次展开说故事的精采旅程。最后，也欢迎你和我们一起大声唱出你最爱的那些儿歌旋律！

活动线上直播也邀请到教育部长王乙康进行致词。

实践剧场有感于国内高品质华语儿歌严重缺乏的问题，进而发展《儿歌新唱计划》，以大家从小到大耳熟能详的音乐旋律和故事为基础，融入现代元素，期待陪伴我们成长的这些儿歌能继续流传到下一个世代。每个系列的《儿歌新唱计划》都包含三个部分：《我们的儿歌唱故事》（音乐专辑）、《我们的儿歌画故事》（歌词绘本）以及《我们的儿歌说故事》（现场演出）。
