Favourite Storytime + Sensory Play sessions will be held at Marina Squuare on 26 August at the Playfair!
Your children will get to see it, hear it and feel it. Stories and words come alive in all carefully designed multi-sensory workshops!
They read “The Way Back Home” by best-selling author Oliver Jeffers and zoom into space with hands-on fun through well-loved taste-safe, scented playdough. A special friendship is formed in space as a boy finds himself stranded on the moon.
Learning Objectives:
- ignite your child’s imagination as he/she recreates the scenes in Oliver Jeffer’s picture book with cutters and playdough items that are all space-themed!
- improve language skills through guided pretend play with non-toxic, taste-safe and scented dough
- take home their playdough creations for an extension of fun
- kindle a love for stories, music and purposeful play with animated narrators (that’s us!)
