Come on! It’s time to play at annual Sensory Fest this September and celebrate 3rd birthday!
They will also be setting up 2nd MamaShop with fellow Mumpreneurs so you can do some shopping too!Inspired by Eric Carle’s many well-loved picture books, they will be creating sensorial play stations to tickle your sense of touch, smell, hearing, sight & taste! Children love to have something hands on to play with, so come for some playdough, waterbeads, playfoam, colored rice fun with the ever popular Eric Carle characters!
Some Eric Carle inspired Play Stations will include:
- Hear: Search & Hunt for animals in Magical Snow based on the book Polar bear, Polar bear, what do you hear?
- See: Color & make-your-own stickers based on the book, Brown bear, Brown bear what do you see? from a rainbow rice tub
- Taste: Create all the yummy food & sweets that the caterpillar ate, based on The very Hungry Caterpillar’ with taste-safe playdough
- Touch: Create & Craft with textured materials like playfoam, based on the book Mister Seahorse.
- Smell: Feel your way through scented waterbeads based on a surprise book! Psst... find out more at the Sensory Fest.
There will also be a Storytelling Station just so they can make these picture books come alive as they see it, hear it and feel it. Let’s raise readers together!
This can be a Parent-accompanied session. But If your child is independent enough to be dropped off alone, you can head off a short break.
Please note that they would need a minimum of 10 pax to conduct the storytime sessions. A full refund will be given otherwise. So, gather your friends and come along!
