Campaign launch to introduce upcycling to families and do away with waste, through workshops, promo-codes and starter kits
Up & Away is a team of four individuals who are passionate about the environment and want to tackle the waste issue in Singapore.
What drives them? It’s the pressing need to reduce waste in Singapore, and a lack of knowledge amongst local parents and kids about how they can best do so.
Why upcycling matters: As great as recycling is, unfortunately not everything can be recycled. Certain types of waste, including textile, type 6 plastic and wood, cannot be recycled and are often discarded.
What’s more, upcycling extends the lifespan of a product, transforming it from unwanted to useful!

The project is dedicated to promoting upcycling as a fun, doable activity that parents and children of ages 7 to 9 can do together to create useful products and do their part to help reduce waste in Singapore!
