decaK!DS - Contemporary Dance Class for Children

This is for the parents with children who are full of beans! Decadance Co has just the program for you. Drop them off at decaK!DS, a safe and nurturing space where children can freely express themselves and reap the wholesome benefits of dance.

Build coordination, confidence, and creativity

Our contemporary dance classes are specially designed to encourage better creative thinking, musicality, coordination, and self-confidence in our little superstars. We teach these through movement exercises, creative devising exercises and choreography. Underlying those direct benefits are passion, courage, discipline, confidence, qualities that bring out the best in every child, shaping them into leaders of the next generation.

Perform live on stage!

Our dancers attend weekly live classes, every Saturday at our studio in Goodman Arts Centre. All students will have the opportunity to perform in a final showcase at the Goodman Arts Centre Black Box. Our next decaK!DS production is titled Locked!, and will be performed at the Goodman Arts Centre Black Box in September 2021. Your child will be able to tell their own stories, have a hand in the choreography process, dance alongside professional contemporary dancers, and benefit from stage experience in a professionally-produced production.
