A Drop falls into the ocean, wondrous and free, excited for what a journey it would be.
But the ocean is still, in search of life. The whale is calling. Fishes are searching. The Drop is elated, becoming one with the Ocean. What a journey it has been!
A Drop in the Ocean is an immersive baby theatre performance for ages 6 to 18 months. This is a debut showing developed by Ian Loy, in collaboration with Ellison Tan, Myra Loke and Serene Tan under Esplanade’s Theatre for Young Audiences Associate Artist programme.

About Ian Loy
Ian Loy is an Esplanade Associate Artist for Theatre for Young Audiences and will debut his first baby theatre work as part of the programme. He has directed numerous children’s productions under Esplanade’s PLAYtime! series.
Pre-registration required. Registration opens 28 Sep 2019, Sat. Limited capacity. As this is a parent-child pair performance, each child must be accompanied by one adult only, who is at least 16 years and above.
This performance is created for babies 6-18 months. In order to create a safer, more conducive environment for our audience members, please indicate your child's age as of October 2019 in the form.
This performance is also suitable for children with cognitive and psychomotor ages of up to 18 months. If your child has additional needs but would like to attend the performance, please write to us at octoburst@esplanade.com.
