About the Artist
Under the musical direction of choral conductor Ms Angila Tan, The Joyful Voices is one of the few independent community choirs in Singapore established upon the values of family-bonding and instilling passion for music. They have performed to many in the Singapore heartlands, moving audiences with their passion and cultivating a spirit of community bonding and enjoyment through music-making.
The choir is made up of children, youth and adults and this special cohesion of voices has created a choral sound that is unique to them making the group the only independent secular choir in Singapore comprising members from all walks of life, across a diverse age group.
