This workshop is jointly conducted by Ibu Surianty and Sriwana. Ibu Surianty, also known as Mdm Liu A Choon, is the Indonesian dance teacher who brought a repertoire of zapinchoreography, among others, to Singapore in 1961.
About Sriwana
Established in 1955, Sriwana is the oldest Malay performing arts group in Singapore. It has served as a training ground for many Singapore Malay dance practitioners, and is committed to offering fresh expressions to the embedded traditional practices of the Malay performing arts.
Conducted in Malay and English.
Advisory: Comfortable clothing is advised, and participants may be asked to remove their shoes during the workshop.
