Esplanade is transformed at Flipside by large-scale art installations around the centre!
The brainchild of artist Adeline Loo, Intersections is a playful, multi-hued work created with string, yarn and ribbon. Found along the Esplanade Waterfront, and at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre and the Esplanade Concourse, each installation redefines the space it is in and changes perspective, with geometric patterns made up of straight lines that give the illusion of curves.

About Adeline Loo
Adeline Loo is an artist and designer who works with yarn, rope and string, to create large, site-specific structures and installations. She uses knitting and weaving techniques with mathematical precision, and experiments with a variety of new materials, such as glow-in-the-dark and reflective materials, to create work that can transform with different lighting states. Loo believes in being socially responsible as an artist and seeks more sustainable ways to create fashion and art.
