From classroom crooner to solo artist, Nick Zavior is Singapore’s newest vocal phenomenon. Graduating in 2016 from LASALLE College of the Arts, Nick excelled and won the prestigious McNally Award for Excellence in the Arts.
About Nick Zavior
Nick was heavily influenced by RnB, which then led to his love of funk, soul and gospel music. His velvety smooth voice has impressed audiences and fans at popular clubs and events all around the region. Nick has been the highlight at popular events in Singapore. His rendition of The Long & Winding Road was featured on Jeremy Monteiro’s album With A Little Help From My Friends, a tribute album to The Beatles. Nick also opened for two-time Grammy Award Winner Gregory Porter at The Capitol Theatre.
The highlight of Nick’s career came in 2017 when he was handpicked by legendary producer David Foster to feature in his concert tour David Foster & Friends. As described by the Straits Times, Nick “made Singapore proud” at the SingJazz International Festival 2017. That same year, David Foster invited him to perform together with him at Air Asia’s headquarters (REDQ) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This year, Nick will release his debut EP, mixed and recorded at the renowned Village Studios, Los Angeles where international artists such as John Mayer, Janet Jackson, Usher, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac have recorded. He has been looking forward to sharing these songs close to his heart.
